Event Activities
Pyrenees Hideout is a fun day out for the whole family to enjoy with a range of activities that’ll be sure to keep everyone entertained.
Special Interest Car Display
Got a classic, special interest or muscle car? Bring it along and show it off in our Special Interest Car Display.
- Participants must fill out an application form and be selected prior to the event to ensure a spot. www.pyreneeshideout.com.au/get-involved
- Entry to the car display is free. Drivers will be given 1x complimentary ticket to attend the event. Additional tickets can be purchased at a discounted rate by using pre-arranged car club affiliate codes. Please notify us if your club has not yet been approved.
- We would like all cars to remain in place at the event for most of the day. Departures will be allowed from 6pm. Any early departures must be accompanied by traffic management staff.
- No alcohol may be brought into the event. Cars will be searched on entry.
- The car display area will be monitored by wardens and security. It will be an unlicensed (dry) area. The bars for the event will operate near the music and food areas.
- We expect all drivers to drive respectfully and lawfully when arriving and departing the event area.
- We understand if some exhibitors will reserve attendance confirmation subject to rain or wet weather forecast. Please let us know on your application if your attendance is wet weather dependent.
- The event has Public Liability Insurance covering the car display activity, however all owners must have their own comprehensive vehicle insurance cover. The event will not be held liable for any damage to cars.
- Event management will respond to all applications received by late January. We would like applications to have closed by early February.

Kids Workshops & Activities
Face painting, arts and craft, hoola hoop workshops, magic shows, bubble balls and plenty more. The Pyrenees Hideout Festival’s dedicated Children’s area will have plenty of fun and games for kids of all ages.

Art with Pedro
A kid a heart, Pedro creates an immersive art space, paint a fun, colourful Hideout Festival mural in which everyone’s input will tell the story of the music and festivities of the day!
Giant lawn games
Fun for all ages, see who can stoop the tower falling of get four in a row!
A full schedule of kid’s activities will be released closer to the event.
Food Stalls
Pyrenees Hideout Festival has something to satisfy even the fussiest of tastebuds with gourmet BBQ and good ol’ fashioned burgers and pizza, Malaysian, baked spuds and more. Plus coffee and plenty of sweet treats including ice cream, donuts and snow cones! Your taste buds are in for a delight!
Lilly’s love affair with cooking began as a kid in her mum’s kitchen.Her itching for good food thrust her into the cafe industry straight out after her moving to Ballarat. Her Malaysian and Indonesian offerings are sure to be a hit!
Specialising in American Style Barbecue Smoke on the Weir will be serving up some smokey meals to our festival attendees.

Serving delicious wood fired pizzas, this Ampitheatre based business will be stoking the coals to feed our hungry guests.

Frozen Rainbows will be shaving Ice & Mixing Fruit Smoothies in every colour of the Rainbow.
